Thanksgiving Howe Sound
Oct 6th to 8th
This is an excuse to avoid cooking a turkey dinner and hosting the in-laws. (Unless they Sail in which case they are cool J)
Saturday Sail whatever route you like to Port Graves in East Bay on Gambier Island. Queen Charlotte Channel may be shorter, however, Collingwood Channel is less busy with ferries. Anchor or Raft up. (Put out the crab and shrimp traps.)
Sunday Relax and enjoy the day. Go fishing or sailing if you want to. But this is the day to show your sailboat’s galley off. Time for a Thanksgiving pot luck dinner. (And you thought you weren’t cooking turkey.)
Monday Sleep in and sail safely back to your home port.
