Information to members regarding BC Sailing Association Annual Planning Conference
Dear BC Sailing Association members,
Please save Saturday, December 8th, 2018 for the upcoming BC Sailing Annual Planning Conference and education Session. The annual conference will take place at the Jericho Sailing Centre (1300 Discovery St, Vancouver B.C. V6R 4L9) and will include sessions in the following areas: Learn to Cruise program, Race Management/Judging programing, CANSail programing and Sail Canada and BC Sailing updates.
Collectively, these sessions provide an opportunity for sharing experiences and expertise, networking and knowledge enhancement for sailing directors, club coaches, Officials (regatta chairs & racing Sailors, certified race officers, potential race officers & judges), Instructors (CANSail instructors/coaches and cruising instructors) and cruising school and club keel boaters.
Topic details are being finalized and will be posted on the BC Sailing website in the near future.
Pre-registration (click here) is required for this event and will close on December 1, 2018. The event will begin at 10:00 and run until 4:00 pm. A catered lunch will be provided.
We look forward to benefiting from representation from a wide variety of stakeholders during these discussions and the opportunity to engage the BC Sailing community leaders at our annual event!
