Hello TCYC Members.
Well, summer is almost upon us and the weather for this weekend is really shaping up to be great. As you all know Saturday May 11th is our Sail Past in honour of our esteemed Commodore Michael Whatley. Membership attendance is mandatory! The Sail Past will commence at 11am sharp. Please be in the area of the Commodore's boat Volare on time. It can take a while to get to Tiddly Cove from False Creek especially in a westerly and/or a flood tide.
Please see the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions PDF below for our traditional race back into the bay. There should be no surprises in the instructions as I have not changed them in a couple years except to include the race as a single-handed qualifier for Sailor of the Year. I do want to remind everyone that if you plan on racing you may need to take your own elapsed time so please ensure you have a timer capable of that on board.

POST-RACE MEET-UP
Members are encouraged to raft up with Volare at a location of the Commodore’s choosing and enjoy the balance of the day. Should the weather not be cooperative the get together will take place at the Wicklow Pub, 610 Stamp’s Landing.
