The Tiddly Cove Yacht Club would like to Honor
Andy Verhoeven and his contribution to the creation of,
Tiddly Cove’s annual English Bay Scramble, the most interesting and popular sailboat race in Vancouver, and perhaps in the world due to its pure, unadulterated racing conundrums! Which way to go? Skippers and crews competing in the Scramble will be the most highly regarded sailors we know, and perhaps that one could meet, ever.
The English Bay Scramble is a unique race where tacticians have free rein in how the marks are rounded, even which way to cross the start line. It delivers a unique combination of:
- the strategic challenges of a long distance race (varying sea states, winds, tides)
- the accessibility of English Bay (no long delivery trips required)
- an open, low-intensity format, suitable to sailors of all experience levels (and budgets!)

1st course
Fattoush Salad, hummus, pickled cabbage; this will be served with pita bread on the side
The second course will be served as a selection, so we will do half and half in accordance to the numbers.
Example: 60 guests, we will serve 30 portions or rice, 30 portions or potatoes and the same for the chicken, falafel and mjadra.
2nd course
Half rice and half potatoes for people to choose their preference.
Half meat and half vegetarian options for people to choose their preference.
This will consist of chicken, falafel and najibs.
Served with hot sauce and tahini sauce on the side.
Options to add tzatziki and toum (garlic sauce) for an additional charge.
Drinks & dessert can be ordered on the night for an additional charge.

$27.95 per person before taxes and gratuity.
Gratuity will be 20% of the final bill.
