Welcome members and guests to the annual TCYC Alder Bay Raft Up.
Hello TCYC Members:
The Alder Bay Raft-Up is fast approaching, but maybe not as fast as you would expect! I have changed the Raft-Up date to a week later this year so that we can enjoy the company of many of our members who are currently trying to race around Vancouver Island in the VanIsle360. The new date for the Raft-Up will be Friday June 28th. Our esteemed Commodore Michael Whatley will set anchor around 6:30pm, and after that point let the rafting begin!
The Alder Bay raft up is a major social / cruising event on the club calendar and we encourage all club members to participate. TCYC is unique in our ability to choose this enchanting spot in the bay and affords a perfect opportunity to get together before we all scatter to our various cruising destinations over the summer. We hope you will bring your boat but if that is not possible just bring yourself and a dinghy ferry service from shore will be provided. Naturally your friends are welcome too!
